Spotify now allows independent artists to publish music directly to the platform, effectively bypassing distributors

Initially tested one of a small sample size of independent musicians, Spotify For Artists will assume complete functionality on September 20. New Spotify For Artists accounts allows pick independent artists who assert their own copyrights and aren’t needed to meet with label or distribution arrangements to upload their releases to the stage that is electronic.
