One year ago now the music world lost one of its true greats when Tom Petty expired after suffering cardiac arrest because of an accidental overdose. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers had only completed a 56-show excursion in honor of their 40th anniversary. Petty went ahead with the excursion despite dealing with a busted hip.
