Artist Julius Dubose, better known by his stage name A Boogie, first began rapping after being inspired by Kanye West and 50 Cent in his teens. While working odd jobs to support himself financially and experimenting with self-composed raps, A Boogie began refining them regularly over time.
In 2016, he released his debut mixtape entitled ‘Artist‘ which proved incredibly successful, earning him opening gigs on Drake’s Summer Sixteen tour and eventually Atlantic Records signing him up as well.
