On Friday night Dave Matthews Band brought their Summertime to the Pacific Northwest kicking off a three-night run in The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. The seminal jam act delivered a pair of surprises throughout their career-spanning night which featured opening sets from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Moon Taxi.
Dave Matthews & Co. got things going in The Evergreen State with “Pig. ” It had been the 21st time the trail from Before These Crowded Streets was exploited to open a show because it had been beamed back in 1998. Three songs after the band served up their bust out of the night, since they discovered “Spaceman” for first time since November 11, 2015 – a period of 99 shows.
