A number of our favourite DJs chose to Burning Man.
Burning Man, the utopia of self-expression, happened in the Nevada desert last week. This unique adventure is just 7 days of artwork, sustainability, community, and of course… music. Countless people come using a outlook on life from the playa every year, making this seem extremely necessary for everyone’s bucket list.
Unlike audio festivals, DJs voluntarily attend Burning Man and perform surprise places. No invites. No money. No contracts.
Some of our favourite DJs visited the desert. Diplo, Skrillex, Zhu, Flume, Tokimonsta, to mention a few, played intimate sets and rare B2Bs, making moments that couldn’t be replicated at any large music festival. Diplo shared to Instagram to enjoying with the very same sets a great deal of the time that he reluctantly gets lazy. At Burning Man, he had the chance to experiment and play music, the atmosphere for mixing that is free. Skrillex failed a surprise B2B using Tokimonsta and Diplo combined forces with Flume for quite a special collaboration. What I think about Burning Man… expect the unexpected.
