Living in one of those hubs of digital music influence, Miami, rising producer Egzod continues to flaunt a diversifying noise using his forthcoming”Atman” EP. The meaning of”Atman” comes in ancient India, and it is a religious term equating to the spirit of a person, or their”real self.” This idea is explored on”Atman” and across the EP. World Music has remained a constant influence throughout Egzod’s tunes, and it remains a principal element of Atman. Incorporating a variety of tools in the world and the Far East, Egzod has developed a signature style of trap and bass audio that isn’t easily imitated. Although Atman is an appeal to bassheads at its heart, every bassline begets wonder in the form of soundscapes and sonic environments making Atman a remarkably dynamic listen throughout.
