Winter is a time to get snuggling. Cuffing season seems to be something, and from every indication, this season is going to be a chilly one. But people are difficult, time consuming and at the very least conversation. For those folks that are cuddly but perhaps a bit shy or misanthropic, there are cats and more , luckily, this December that there will be a festival honoring them. The Snowcats Cat Convention at the Exdo Event Center will be a two-day party of everything feline — bringing it all together for a weekend of cats, art and music. The event will showcase adoptable cats with an cat cafe and lounge courtesy of the Denver Cat Company. There’ll also be speakers guests, meet and greets, libations and a film festival to maintain the entire thing.
The line-up is stacked with important characters from the cat world. While internet cats such as Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub may be absent there are nevertheless a few folks in the home. Colorado’s Baloo the Adventure Cat as well as the Kitten Lady — both of Instagram fame — will soon probably be performing presentations, using a meet and greet with all Kitten Lady available for an extra charge. IAmMoshow — the man who gained internet fame because of his rap around giving his cat a bath — will be there. Whether or not he will present his cat on stage is not yet been determined.

There are also presentations out of a vet, a few cat wellness entrepreneurs and advocates. Brandon Zavala — creator of Cat Wine and Appolo Peak Pet Wines, along with also the creator of the occasion — will speak within the “Catrepreneurs Speaking Series,” alongside Emma Bassiri of Meowingtons Co.. , Olivia Canlas of Meowbox along with Sana Hamelin of the Denver Cat Company.
The event is sure to be both informative and novel — that the site is packed with sections recorded “ coming shortly ” — while it seems like the founders will be piecing things together. Occasions such as the “cat-chelor auction,” where the cat men will soon be auctioned off sit nicely alongside chances and vet talks to adopt as the weather gets colder, cats that are absolutely in need of a loving home. Denver is ongoing to develop a different identity. With lots of events such as this representing a commitment to the honorable and the silly, it looks like we.
