“The Experience Hendrix Tour”, a part of the life and music of rock legend Jimi Hendrix, will soon be returning for a U.S. run at spring of 2019.

The trek features an all-star band headlined from drummer Billy Cox who played as a part of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Band of Gypsys. Joining him onstage to perform Hendrix’s audio and probably a wealth of different tunes from 2019 is a murderer’s row of talent such as Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine; grasp guitarists Joe Satriani, Dweezil Zappa, and Eric Johnson; along with King’s X bassist/vocalist Doug Pinnick.

In a statement published with the tour announcement, Mustaine needed to say concerning his participation at the Experience Hendrix Tour:

“Jimi Hendrix. The name which comes to my head as one of those ‘Premiere American Guitarists of All Time. ’ An Innovator, and celebrated musician, I am beyond honored to do my part in this tribute to the Wild Jimi Hendrix, also want to thank [EH Tour producer] John McDermott for inviting me to play along such mind-blowing guitarists like Joe Satriani, and a personal favourite of mine, Eric Johnson. See you there! ”

That group of musicians will be joined on the way by guests such as Taj Mahal, Los Lobos members David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas, along with Isley Brothers manhood Ernie Isley.

The concerts have been taking place off and on using its last batch of shows hitting on stages on the West Coast and Midwest at 2017. This time around, the trek kicks off in Florida in the Pompano Beach Amphitheater on March 3rd and wends through the South and Midwest before wrapping on the East Coast with a series at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut, on April 6th.
