Check out the highlights of Treasure Island Music Festival.
For its season, Treasure Island Music Festival celebrated with a variety of music, Bay Area culture, and fascinating artwork. After its 2017 hiatus, the event relocated into the Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. The new venue was larger and had a stunning view of Downtown San Francisco. This weekend, they all drew over 23,500 attendees.
The lineup comprised a combination of electronic acts, choice, dance, and hip hop . They hosted on Tame Impala, Asap Rocky, Silk City, Lord Huron, Santigold, Jungle and Pusha T .
Standout electronics acts began on Saturday with Silk City, a collaborative endeavor between Diplo and Mark Ronson. They stole the principal stage with lively trails – including their most recent hit,”Electricity.” Duo Polo & Pan rocked the City Stage with tunes. Moses Sumney shook the audience also, belting out tunes that were melodic. He had been featured earlier this season in Flume’s track”Weekend.”
The artwork was nothing short of interesting. This past year they featured a giant squid that transferred around his tentacles during the whole period of the event. Dozens of artwork installations were exhibited around the festival each day and festival goers were entertained by aliens that were walking.
