. . .Or can it be a tune by Mike Yung featuring Martin Garrix?
Martin Garrix has had a lot on his plate that you simply can ’t even expect he’ll pour his whole self into every project. The Dutch DJ/producer has released “Dreamer,” which functions more as a car for Mike Yung compared to a foundation STMPD RCRDS release.
Yung’s soulful vocal takes center stage in the arrangement, his unforgettable legends inspiring hope with relatable sentiments. Garrix’s influence can only be heard in the course. The track’s symphonic elements and slap bass samples outweigh his sheepish synth melodies.
Mike Yung (real name Michael Young) busked at New York City Subway stations ahead of his 2017 look on America’s Got Talent established his profession. The 58-year-old is now raising funds to release his debut album, I Will Never Give Up, through Kickstarter.
On the Subject of his Martin Garrix collaboration, Young recently tweeted:
This man @martingarrix could work with anyone. Why he chose to use a 60 yr old just like me was constantly confusing. But now we have a tune coming out of Friday. Hopefully this shows labels I still got what it requires. Martin thank for the chance and I love you guy.
Martin Garix’s “Dreamer” featuring Mike Yung came arrived today, November 1st, by way of STMPD RCRDS. Stream or get the single across programs here.
