NGHTMRE and SLANDER have started Gud Vibrations off with a bang.
If NGHTMRE and SLANDER get behind an artist, they probably have a bright future ahead. The two acts recently declared the launching of their label, Gud Vibrations, and also their very first launch has came in the kind of”Deathwish” containing fknsyd by WAVEDASH.
“Deathwish” requires a turn so surprising that it’d put M. Night Shyamalan into shame. The tune starts out with fknsyd’s angelic vocal ringing over hot chords, all of which break down into a cacophony that spins into a savage drop. The serene motif at the beginning of the track just reappears briefly afterwards.
WAVEDASH created their huge breakthrough with their 2016 OWSLA introduction,”Bang,” which received assistance by the likes of Skrillex and Kill The Noise. “Deathwish” is not their first time resisting fknsyd to get vocals. The Florida singer (who produces songs of her own) also donated the topline of the title track from their June EP, Devil Music.
Before 2018 brings to a close, WAVEDASH have been slated to launch a four-track EP branded Opening Ceremony via NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s recently established Gud Vibrations imprint.
