These artists took the cake for best Halloween costumes.

This Halloween, EDM DJ/producers donned some creative costumes. Through social media we got to see Diplo, Zedd, Alison Wonderland as well as others embody the Halloween spirit. 

Although there were countless contenders, we narrowed our favourite outfits from this week to eight winners. Take a look at the most humorous, smart and cute ideas from this year – and inform us if you would have chosen anybody else.

Diplo

Diplo showed up everyone when he posted a video to Instagram of him dressed in a tight outfit while dance to his track”Electricity.” If you’ve seen the music video, then it is a caricature of the outfit worn by the tune’s featured vocalist, Dua Lipa. We applaud you Diplo.

Another artist who gave us a great laugh was Zedd. The chart-topping producer brought his girl power in a hilarious Wonder Woman outfit. He is definitely the hero all of us need.

If this doesn’t scream cute I do not know what does. Dynamic duo Louis The Child chose to dress up like peanut butter and jelly. We could not think of a fitting costume for the set.

Alison Wonderland put a twist on her”Awake” look by making a Halloween version. The Australian DJ/producer wore a girl scout outfit alongside some blue locks. She also gave us the most renowned eye roll we all know and love.

DJ mariachi band? We are in.  Valentine Khan, GTA, Wuki, along with Nitti Gritti collaborated on a hysterical set costume, dressing up to a mariachi group. This Day of the Dead seem was much valued.

Going back to the early 2000s really makes things feel dull. The female activist, DJ and producer KITTENS took us back to the earlier times leaving us nostalgic.

Emo boy sloth = The Chainsmokers. The unstoppable pair decided to have separate vibes this calendar year, with Drew Taggart dressing to be an emo boy along with Alex Pall as a sloth. Although they were not fitting, both thoughts were entertaining in their own manner.

The best couple outfit goes to Cray and Kayzo. The two went as literary Parks and Recreation personalities Burt Macklin along with Janet Snakehole. Title a iconic duo… we will wait.
