Mac Miller’s Spotify Singles Session Reveals 2 Posthumous Tracks

Mac Miller unexpectedly passed away almost 3 months past, but his music lives on. While enthusiasts are still in shock over his passing, a from the hip hop icon has released through Spotify.

Miller previously recorded for the music. The first is a live version of “Dun” a cut out of his 2018 album Swimming. Another, a cover of Billy Preston hit “Nothing From Nothing” out of 1974. The whole focus of Spotify’s Singles series is devised around the era of 45s and traditional singlesthe throwback track.

Only this season, Spotify’s Singles series hit a landmark with over 1 billion flows. A rep commented on the large achievement of initial content in saying, “Recording these paths also opens the chance for artists from genres to connect us at our distinctively inspiring Studio to capture a new take on one of the best tunes, in addition to a cover by their own favorite musician or band. ”
