Slushii Shares Supposed Jauz Remix of Viral Meme “Baby Shark”

Well, that is 1 way to tell your colleague to stop procrastinating.

It has been well over a month since Jauz begrudgingly agreed to remix viral atmosphere”Baby Shark.” In what seems to be quite a tongue-in-cheek means of reminding himSlushii has shared a track listed as a cut version of the remix.

“Baby Shark” is a children’s singalong created by South Korean informative entertainment firm Pinkfong. It became perhaps the world’s most-memed video over the past six months (which was by design, as some claim).

Being that sharks play with such a fundamental role within his branding, Jauz (real name Sam Vogel) has been the perfect candidate to provide the EDM remix of”Baby Shark.” After growing tired of being requested to do it, he chose to leveraged it as a social reach opportunity by asserting a remix in return for 20,000 tweets. His followers happily obliged.

Fast forward to yesterday, and a supposed reduction of Vogel’s remix has been uploaded to a SoundCloud account named”susboy.” Slushii (real name Julian Scanlan) then shared the trail via Twitter. Its four-four conquer and LFO wobbles hint at the bass house design by which the title Jauz has practically become synonymous, albeit with no sound design subtleties which make his real releases stand out.

Scanlan is no stranger to stepping out his sonic comfort zone (according to his recent record DREAM), suggesting that he might have been responsible to its remix.  He also Vogel have collaborated in the past because both are represented by Moe Shalizi, who recently parted ways with Red Light Management to establish his own management company .

Jauz has yet to react to Slushii’s apparent troll or reveal when he might discuss the true remix of”Baby Shark.”
