With the conclusion of 2018 arrived the conclusion of a much-deserved year-old to Skrillex. Though the “Buckets” producer maintained a busy studio presence and a relatively busy excursion, 2018 came and went with no launch of a major project. The expectation which has drummed up since Skrillex’s final solo release has attained an all-time large, and while the public is aware something new is coming, hopes of a full blown record might have just been dashed by the man himself.

It’s no key Skrillex has a trove of music under the hood. Social media is ablaze with clips of fellow producers and paths hyping classics . Though in a recent interview using Billboard about the creation supporting Skrillex’s new Kingdom Hearts III motif, the OWSLA-helmer was ambiguous in his wording to a new project underway. Says Skrillex,

“You know, folks were asking me around when I have a brand new record coming out, and it’s a little strange, because I never believed I was creating an album. ”

Having attained an obviously brand new chapter in his career and his thirties, Skrillex reflects on his time off, and also the need to “be person. ” He can guarantee fans,

“I’ll launch some new music however I’m hoping to do it . At precisely the same time, I love to make music, also I’m. ”

While a proper follow up studio album to Recess might not actually be exactly what Skrillex has in store for lovers, he’s definitely got new material his sleeve, which is seeing the light of day really soon.
