Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond team up, at last.

It’s a good day for trance when forces are joined by two of the genre’s biggest names. Such is the case now, with the release of Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond’s hotly anticipated collaboration“Show Me Love.”

It seems shocking that “Show Me Love” marks the first collaboration between Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond.  Not only are both among the artists in music, but they command the genre’s two leading brands, Armada Music and Anjunabeats. 

Though both artists haven’t hesitated to research outside trance, particularly in recent decades, long-time lovers will be happy to hear”Show Me Love” harkens back to the sonic roots of both performers. The track premiered through the A State Of Trance 900 event in Utrecht, where Armin brought Above & Beyond on stage to showcase the collaboration. In a media release, Armin commented on what he considers the collaboration means for trance. 

“The guys from Above & Beyond and I exchanged a couple of remixes back in the early 2000s, and we enjoyed working together. In the following years, we never connected up despite that, until now. I think that ‘Show Me Love’ can play a role in uniting fans from all around the world and I hope it will spark a gorgeous collaborative era between us and our various labels. ”
