Whatever you thought of the bonkers Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” which just ended on March 12, Denver-based star Colton Underwood and his winning bachelorette, Cassie Randolph, aren’t going anywhere soon.
This was made clear this morning with the announcement of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” veteran Kaitlyn Bristowe’s fresh Spring Break Tour, which plans to visit Denver’s Paramount Theatre on April 15 — with Underwood and Randolph in tow.
Tickets are on sale now for $49.50, not including fees, and are available by calling 866-461-6556 or seeing paramountdenver.com.
And if you believed there wouldn’t be a opportunity to mingle with Bristowe — the 33-year-old Canadian star of Season 11 of “The Bachelorette” and contestant on Season 19 of “The Bachelor” — you’d be mistaken.
Promoters said a limited number of VIP Meet & Greet tickets with Bristowe “and all her special guests” are available for $145.50 and fees.
“She is amusing. She’s charismatic. She’s unapologetically herself,” according to a press statement. “She expresses herself best with a mic and a glass of wine in hand. ”
Maybe, but she’ll also be mic’ed-up and recording, since the series doubles as a live version of Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast. There are also plans to incorporate a DJ performance from Brandi Cyrus, “a musical talent that slays, and among Kaitlyn’s best friends,” the statement said. “This isn’t just a podcast tour; it’s a party from beginning to end. Kaitlyn is bringing together all her favourite things … her podcast, dancing, her best pals, Dews, and … wine, of course! Its [sic] Spring Break so let’s get blunt (as always), laugh … a lot, and just have a blast! ”
In case that paragraph read like jargon to you: Bristowe started her podcast “Off the Vine” on May 29, 2017, while her lineup of Dew-branded hair scrunchies hit retail shelves on June 18, 2018.
However, we’re gambling Denver residents may be more interested in seeing Underwood and Randolph alternately mug and squirm under the Paramount Theatre lights, given the closeness to the conclusion of the crazy (by any standard) season of “The Bachelor. ”
But Colton, there won’t be a fence you can jump over to escape your hometown crowd.
This won’t be Bristowe’s first trip to Denver. Her most recent story lines revolve around her breakup from longtime fiance Shawn Booth, and quick turn into a relationship with Jason Tartick, a cast-off from Becca Kuffrin’s season of ”Bachelorette. ”
Tartick became fast friends with other men on his season: Denver residents Blake Horstmann and Underwood. Bristowe and her new beau have been seen at Denver’s Howl at the Moon, Dairy Block, Ritz-Carlton and other areas during visits to the city in recent months.
Speaking of Bristowe’s exes, lovers can’forget that her season of “The Bachelorette” is where Ben Higgins first made his Bachelor Nation introduction, which makes it all the way to dream suites.
Will Denver’s most famous “Bachelor” alum step away from his Denver restaurant, Ash’Kara, Colorado-based coffee company and new girlfriend to create an appearance on stage with his ex? We’ll see.
