Members of the Osiris Team Led to DelFest over Memorial Day Weekend and Talked with a number of performers at the event Due to their InnerViews video series. Last week’s Sunday Cinema features a playlist of those Osiris InnerViews filmed at DelFest, that happened at Allegany County Fairgrounds at Cumberland, Maryland May 23 – 26.
The first of the chats features guitarist Billy Strings. Billy discusses his meteoric climb, what DelFest signifies to him and more. Next, festival creator Del McCoury along with also his grandson Heaven McCoury talk about lots of topics such as the occasion, DelFest’s Academy along with Del’s performance with Phish. Up-and-comers The Broomestix then clarify the genesis of their group, performing at DelFest, the future of bluegrass and much more.
Mandolinist Sierra Hull‘s InnerView covers such earth as what she enjoys about DelFest, recruiting guitarist Mike Bono because of her set in the festival and also attending Berklee School Of Music, one of the topics. The following interview features The String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth. Kyle discusses his appreciation to the community that formed around DelFest, his pleasure of performing outside in the summertime, SCI’s Red Rocks debut, the justification behind the band’s hiatus and much more.
