It s been a couple months because Excision put out something new. The previous track was his cooperation with Illenium and I Prevail which was debuted at Red Rocks last year, “Feel Something. ” Now, he’s dropping “Resistance” with friend and collaborator Downlink next Thursday, June 18.
He shared a record of this track on media, even though it only shares a snippet of the vocal intro: “The greed of world leaders has gone too far. The time has come to take the planet back. ”
The phrases are particularly pertinent to current international problems, although it ’ s unclear if events directly influence them. However, in the present climate, all proceeds from the track is going to be contributed to the Equal Justice Initiative, a firm that “functions to end mass incarceration, extreme punishment, and racial inequality. ”
