Livetronica act Lotus will kick the 2021 year at iconic Morrison, Colorado venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The quintet contributes to Red Rocks for two sets each night on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24.

State officials approved Red Rocks hosting up to 2,500 guests at each event according to the place ’s Twitter feed. “We’re excited about the imminent return of live audio to #RedRocksCO, and also look forward to inviting you back for a fantastic 80th anniversary summertime,” reads a notice from venue operators.

Safety protocols in place for events at Red Rocks are set out here. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment shared projections last month that live events may be held at 75 – 80% capacity by July in case COVID-19 cases are still decline.

Lotus played with a limited-capacity concert at Red Rocks last September. The April performances mark the group ’s live, in-person reveals of 2021. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 2 at 10 a.m. MT via AXS.com (April 23, April 24).
