Bob Weir strikes the road with Bob Weir and Wolf Bros next week to its Grateful Dead/Dead & Company‘s performances before live, on site audiences since the pandemic started. Weir partnered with nugs.net to Supply livestreams featuring the group’s concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado June 8 – 9 and also as part of this GoPro Mountains Of Music event at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, Colorado June 11 – 12.
Each series will feature the enlarged Wolf Bros lineup consisting of Weir, drummer Jay Lane, bassist Don Was, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz in addition to the exact five-piece Wolf Pack horn and string ensemble. The Wolf Pack features cellist Alex Kelly, violinist Mads Tolling, trombonist Adam Theis, woodwind specialist Sheldon Brown and trumpeter Brian Switzer.
Bobby teamed with the musicians for a Collection of livestream concerts coming from his TRI Studios facility in San Rafael, California beginning on New Year’s Eve and continuing on the Chinese New Year, St. Patrick’s Day and on April 24. The guitarist dug deep into his repertoire for every performance.
The nugs.net webcasts can be purchased individually or discounted 2 – and four-show packs in HD or 4K video formats. Occasion merch is also available. The livestreams could be seen on-demand for 48 hours after the first viewing. Weir takes the stage at Morrison at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and at Vail at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
