Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Continue Colorado Run In Vail

Bob Weir and Wolf Bros continued their Colorado Conduct in Vail on Friday night with the first of two concerts in Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater for Your GoPro Mountains Of Music event. Bobby and business would deliver Grateful Dead classics as well as a tune from the Ratdog catalog together with the Wolf Pack outfit and much more.

Following two magical nights in Red Rocks around Tuesday along with Wednesday, guitarist Bob Weir, drummer Jay Lane, bassist Don Was, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and welded steel player Greg Leisz started the first night at Vail (which saw no repetitions in Red Rocks) with “Hell In A Bucket. The group eased to the tune with a bit of jamming but kicked off the tune proper using a lively start. Bobby led the band through a yummy version of the In The Dark cut before cooling down things a little with Bob Dylan’s “When I Paint My Masterpiece. ” The band lasted with Johnny Cash’s “Big River” ahead of the Dead classic “Tennessee Jed. ” Willie Dixon’s blues normal “Little Red Rooster” came next before the Wolf Pack series and horn section containing woodwind specialist Sheldon Brown, violinist Mads Tolling, trombonist Adam Theis, trumpeter Brian Switzer along with cellist Alex Kelly combined for the Ratdog tune “Two Djinn. ” A Wolf Pack “Wharf Rat” will wrap up the initial set.

The next framework obtained punished with the quintet on ldquo;El Paso. ” The Marty Robbins country classic featured some wonderful pedal steel touches from Leisz. The Wolf Pack then emerged, and might remain on for the remainder of the group, and helped Bobby and the band on beautiful bit of jammming resulting in “Jack Straw” that in turn segued right into “Scarlet Begonias. ” & & ldquo;Shakedown Street” would then kick off a seamless set-closing section that found the outfit exploring “Dark Star” followed closely by “The Other One” “Morning Dew” along with the Buddy Holly fan-favorite “Not Fade Away” to close out the set. “Liberty” would get the encore going ahead of the Wolf Pack helped Weir along with the band bring the evening to a close with “U.S. Blues. ”
