Neil Patrick Harris may stop by the Alamo Drafthouse Sloan’s Lake location on Thursday, Sept. 27 to get a book discussion, movie viewing and also ldquo;meet-and-greet chance,” the Drafthouse announced today.
The “How I Met Your Mother” co-star along with Tony-award winning stage actor, famous as much for his eponymous online fan base as his activism and pleasant media existence, may read from new book “The Magic Misfits: The Second Story” before viewing a yet-to-be decided film.
Tickets for the event, which will be introduced by the Tattered Cover and runs in seven to 10 p.m. at 4255 W. Colfax Ave., are on sale now for $10 per via drafthouse.com. (Limited tickets are for sale at the writing.)
“There is going to be a raffle for 5 individuals (and their +1’s) to meet Neil Patrick Harris,” according to a Facebook occasion posted now by the Drafthouse. “Stay tuned for further event details! End time might vary. ”
Harris’ brand new book, which is released a couple days before his Denver appearance, is the next in his “Magic Misfits” show — a middle-grade narrative that follows the personality Leila and her friends as they use cunning and magic tricks (Harris is a proficient, real-life magical devotee) to solve mysteries.
His “HIMYM” co-star Jason Segel is also an author of young adult novels, and that he came through Colorado last year.
