deadmau5: “I’m On the Right Track and I’m Feeling Better”

Three weeks after his breakdown, deadmau5 has provided his fans an upgrade.

Deadmau5 fans have been in the dark in relation to this DJ/producer’s mental health as of late, but he’s finally broken his silence. Last month he wrote at a statement he would be”going off the radar,” and he’s followed up with news.

In his very first tweet in 3 weeks, deadmau5 (whose actual name is Joel Zimmerman) stated that his state has improved. “With the support from Kelly, my family and friends, and the help of health professionals, I’m on the right track and I’m feeling better,” he said.

Zimmerman’s does not seem eager to return to social websites, nevertheless. “Am I jumping back on Twitter tonight? Nah,” he continued, “and for now, I’m giving the team at Mau5trap my socials to get you info on touring and stuff.”

Being Zimmerman’s societal networking hiatus directly followed 2 separate events in which he sparked outrage with uncontrollable opinions, some theorized he may have been using mental health issues to excuse his behavior. After he cancelled his headlining performance in Clubhouse Fest two weeks ago, the digital music community started to take it more seriously.

Zimmerman also mentioned he is going to finish his European tour dates – the next of which will take place in Verti Music Hall at Berlin on November 8th.
