The Denver music scene is giving us a lot to be thankful for this week. This week in concerts includes seven fully loaded days of music. From Monday to Sunday there are over 100 concerts going on across the Mile High City. Whatever genre or type of musical mood you’re in, there is bound to be something out there for you this week. There is only one more full week of November after this, so take advantage of what’s going on below.
Monday, November 19
Recommended: twenty one pilots w/ AWOLNATION, Max Frost
To kick this week off on Monday night, twenty one pilots are bringing their “Bandito Tour” to The Pepsi Center. Earlier this year, the rap-rock duo released their most recent album Trench and are currently touring in support of its release. For the last two years, twenty one pilots enjoyed sold out two night runs at Red Rocks and are now taking on The Pepsi Center. Fellow big-name acts AWOLNATION and Max Frost are on the bill for Monday night as well.

On Tuesday night, EDM artist Shallou is taking over The Bluebird Theater. Shallou’s music has a solid driving force behind it while also delivering catchy hooks. Shallou is also coming off the release of his new EP called Souls which includes seven great tracks that will make you familiar with this artist before his show. Fellow artist Japanese Wallpaper is joining Shallou at The Bluebird Theater this Tuesday as well.

Recommended: The Last Waltz Revisited @ The Fillmore
On Wednesday night, The Last Waltz Revisited is returning to The Fillmore for its 2018 run. The Last Waltz is a concert of remembrance for the legendary group The Band’s 1978 documentary. In 2018, the legacy of The Band still runs strong as this tour keeps the spirit of their music alive. Tickets are still available for this show on Wednesday night so grab some while there is still time.

If you’re looking to spend Thanksgiving this year in a very unique way, we might have something you’ll enjoy. On Thursday, pseudo-Black Sabbath tribute/parody band (yes, you read that correctly) is coming to Denver to take over The Bluebird Theater. Mac Sabbath is known to put on one hell of an eclectic show while dressed up as McDonald’s themed characters. Fellow band Franks & Deans are joining Mac Sabbath as they venture into Denver this Turkey Day.

On Friday, local Denver band Tennis and singer Esmé Patterson are teaming up to take over the Central Presbyterian Church. Tennis was one of the local bands featured in the first-ever Grandoozy festival here in Denver earlier this year and are worth checking out if you haven’t heard of them. Patterson is also making moves within the Denver music scene and is known for her infectious energy on stage.

Underoath first hit the scene back in 2002 with the release of their debut album The Changing Of Times and stuck to a fairly consistent release schedule ever since. On Saturday, Underoath is headed to The Ogden Theatre. Earlier this year, the band released Erase Me which includes 11 heavy hitting tracks to get you in the mood for some rock. Fellow bands Dance Gavin Dance, Crown The Empire and The Plot In You are joining Underoath as they head into the Mile High City this week.
