Tony Fresch (aka Dr. Fresch) has come a ways as the 2012 launching of his former tag, Prep School Recordings. The Prep School launching jump-started Fresch’s career in electronic music, as he awakened the indie imprint to launch debut EPs from the now-dignitary Louis The Child, Illenium, and much more . Ever since that time he’s solidified a respectable reputation as having an accomplished DJ and inventive producer, releasing songs on upper-echelon dance tags like OWSLA and Ministry of Sound.

The LA-based curator has announced his newest endeavor: The Prescription Records, a label created auspiciously alongside Insomniac Music Group. The tag establishment is the latest expansion of Fresch’s Prescription brand, which now has its own blend show on Sirius XM (currently on its own 58th event ). Appropriatelyin 2013, it had been Insomniac which gave Fresch his beginning as a touring DJ after he won their Discovery Project competition. In various ways, the brand newest imprint cements his six-year relationship with the market giant.

To celebrate the label’s introduction, Prescription Records has published a nine-track compilation comprising 12 unique talents, for example Dr. Fresch himself (“Dr. No”), Arizona-based BIJOU (“Smack”), French DJ Tony Romera (“Kill The System”), and much more. The compilation cements Fresch’s Known for attracting novelty and nuance into the modern G-House domain, being among the sub-genre’s first gurus.
