Following a three-year run, the AEG and Goldenvoice have declared the Panorama Music Festival will not be returning in 2019. The music festival has taken place on New York City’s Randalls Island and showcased the likes of Arcade Fire, The National, Tame Impala, Nine Inch Nails and The War On Drug.
According to Billboard, AEG will be expecting to deliver Panorama back in 2020 in their originally envisioned website, Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The festival has undergone a handful of setbacks in its short history including needing to cancel its portion of its very first day last year due to weather.

Panorama will probably be taking a hiatus at 2019 while we carry on talks with NYC Parks to get the festival into Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, where it was originally envisioned.
We had a fantastic encounter with Paul Simon last September in Flushing Meadows and anticipate returning later on.
We had been frustrated at NYC Parks refusal of our license application regardless of the long term advantages this event would send to the community along with the park.
While we’ve loved our time to Randall’s Island along with its excellent facilities, we believe we have achieved all that we can at this website. We anticipate continued conversations with City Parks to research making the Flushing Meadows website a fact. Until then, we thank the musicians and fans who supported the event for the last 3 years of excellent performances.
