The Keynote Speakers for the 2019 Winter Music Conference Comprise Armin Van Buuren, Irvine Welsh, Laidback Luke, Sam Feldt, and more.
Winter Music Conference (WMC) has been considered one of the most important months of this year for the digital music industry. It has returned to Miami Beach, Florida because of the year that this March 25th-28th, 2019 at the Faena Forum. WMC brings together such as DJs, artists, A&Rs and promoters in addition to radio and media professionals for a set of keynote speakers, conferences and industry panels.
The first round of speakers carries a wide variety of specialists in the music space, many of whom touch on subjects. They’re topics that we believe to be critical for the industry’s development and forward-trajectory.
Dr. Douglas Rushkoff, one of the “planet ’s ten most powerful intellectuals” based on MIT, will provide a keynote presentation focused on his Team Human podcast and subjects concerning human connection.
Armin van Buuren is a legendary Dutch Trance Producer, DJ, label head and businessman. He’ll lead a presentation on his dance manufacturer A State of Trance and how it was constructed from the ground up beginning with the installment back in 2001. Together van Buuren will be other notable trance DJs and producers that will talk about the development of trance.
Irvine Welsh — known for novels, stories and screenplays such as Trainspotting — will soon be combined by home originator DJ Pierre to discuss the effects of the genre global music and culture. He and Welsh will follow the effect of this motion from it’s first minutes all the way to the current moment.
Laidback Luke, one of the DJs of all time, will be hosting WMC’s The Power of Creative DJing. He rises to the occasion in this presentation.
Platinum-selling DJ and Producer Sam Feldt are also present at WMC alongside a guest to discuss green philanthropy. Feldt and his guest will lead an important discussion on how music can be a vehicle for this particular change, and how we can make the planet a better place in the near future and long term future.
