Deer Tick Announces Tour & Shares ‘Bluesboy’ Video

Deer Tick will release Mayonnaise a collection of covers, alternate takes on songs from their pair of 2017 albums Vol. 1 and Vol 2 and new tunes on February 1. Ahead of the LP’s release, the Rhode Island-born band has shared the video for “Bluesboy,” one of the brand new songs from the LP and confirmed a North American tour in support.

“We collaborated with our long-time road manager and jack of many trades Tuyet Nguyen to bring you a modern rock and roll performance music video,” the band shared. “Filmed in the Providence house concert location, Headquarters, we invited some friends and associates to party with us for the afternoon. A big thank you to Headquarters and everyone involved!” The video features fan cell phone footage and along several Easter Eggs from the band’s history.

Deer Tick has also detailed a 17-date run that kicks off on April 25 at the Port City Music Hall in Portland, Maine. The tour includes a pair of New York City dates with an album celebration show scheduled for April 30 at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade and a gig at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 2. The four-piece bar-rock act will also make stops in Toronto, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Kansas City, Houston, Austin and more.
