Jasmine Eiland to Sue Opera Atlanta Following Live Stream Rape Incident

Jasmine Eiland’s attorney, Chris Stewart, blames insufficient security staffing on the portion of Opera Atlanta.

Three weeks after Jasmine Eiland captured her own apparent rape in Opera Atlanta on Facebook live, her team has dealt with the public. Her attorney has confirmed they have filed a litigation – not just from the offender, but in addition the nightclub in which the incident took place.

At a Midtown Atlanta press conference, Christ Stewart of Stewart Trial Attorneys maintained that proper security staffing on the portion of Opera Atlanta could have prevented the sexual attack. He cited conversations with preceding employees who alleged that just a fourth of the security needed (both by law and business policy) were present.  As a result, nobody stopped the alleged offender, Dominique Williams, by taking Eiland throughout the crowd into a closed place while she was hardly aware.

Stewart also stated that his attempts to reach out to Opera Atlanta are met with enthusiasm.

“That’s the danger of the club,” Stewart commented. “Everyone wants to say,’Oh, you’re just seeking to sue somebody,’ and that is not accurate. I’m looking to prevent this from happening to another young lady or young man in this city again.” At one stage during the seminar, Eiland left the room and burst into tears.

Neither Jasmine Eiland nor Chris Stewart have revealed the amount which they’re seeking from her Opera Atlanta litigation.
