After unveiling their lineup earlier this season, Bonnaroo fans have been gearing up for the Tennessee festival’s yearly June celebration. However, the beloved festival is taking the festivities on the street for the first time this season. Launching their new “Ready to Roo” event series, Bonnaroo has announced a set of shows and events around 14 cities across the nation.

From March 18 to April 6, Bonnaroo will be hosting pop-up events, from concerts and bar nights to community support and matches of bean-bag toss. Assessing the communal feeling that comes along with the Bonnaroo title, “these unifying activities create a sense of community which transcends their time in the festival, and the service jobs in select cities underscore Bonnaroo’s focus on societal good and ‘radiating positivity,’ that is part of the Bonnaroovian code” said festival co-founder Ashley Capps in a press release earlier this week.
