Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Prine has declared a number of forthcoming tour dates and is working on rescheduling the concerts. Prine will undergo a medical procedure that necessitated the change to his program.
“In consultation with his doctors, John was advised that he has an elevated risk for a stroke,” reads a note to Prine’so called Instagram. “He will have surgery this week to insert. He resembles a full and quick recovery. ”
John Prine’s headlining concert at Red Rocks, that was slated for July 28 will be held at the Morrison, Colorado venue on September 18. Concerts scheduled for Salt Lake City on July 30, Portland (Oregon) on August 2, Seattle on August 4, Vancouver on August 6, Banff on August 8 and Calgary on August 9 have been cancelled. “We are working on rescheduling the dates and will discuss updates advice as possible,” the note on Instagram explains. In addition, Prine’s forthcoming look at the 2019 Edmonton Folk Festival will take place on August 9, 2020 instead.
Ticketholders are urged to continue to their tickets because most of tickets will remain valid. May obtain them.
