Kayzo Binds Rock and EDM Closer than Ever with Sophomore Album, Unleashed

Standing at the forefront of the rock-EDM crossroads is none aside from L.A.-based DJ/producer Kayzo. Climbing to the top with his remix of 2000 alternative/nu-metal struck “Last Resort” by Papa Roach, and his high-energy cooperation with RIOT, “Wake Up,” one of the very defining qualities about Kayzo’s rise to fame is his electrifying, genre-fluid way of production. Now, Kayzo (real name Hayden Capuozzo) has pushed the boundaries between genres over ever with the launch of the 15-track sophomore LP, Unleashed.

Featuring 18 unique artists around 15 tracks, Unleashed lacked the abilities of guest vocalists out of emo, pop-punk, and alternative music. On previous releases out of Capuozzo, like the only ’s “Night Terror& ” “Up In Flames” and most recently “Cruel Love,” he also awakened Of Mice & Men, Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low, as well as ShYbeast and Frank Zummo.

Coming from the EDM scene, the tracklist includes fellow The Binches manhood and best buddy of Capuozzo, Yultron, in addition to TYNAN, 1788-L, and ARMNHMR. OG lovers of Kayzo will even recognize Micah Martin because the vocalist on two tracks: “Wait It Out” and “Fight For Love” in previous releases of the Houston-born manufacturer. Martin was featured “OVERLOAD,” “Feel The Power,” and the SLANDER cooperation “Holy. ”

“[Martin is] one of the first vocalists I got to work with in this cupboard area,” Capuozzo advised his fans on social media. “[He] will always hold a special place in my heart because he was featured on a number of the greatest records I ever did. ”

Unleashed additionally features the overdue We Came As Romans vocalist Kyle Pavone on “LA Never Says Goodbye,” a cooperation made with Los Angeles duo ARMNHMR. “& & lsquo;It gets me happy to hear Kyle’s voice, however, breaks my heart at exactly the same moment. ” Capuozzo shared through Twitter. “This really is his final listed tune and lyrically it strikes home quite profound. ”

In celebration of the album’s launch, Capuozzo has launched Unleashed-themed merch items. Longsleeves, hats, jerseys, and hooks are available here.
