Hardly Strictly Bluegrass announced its closing 2020 lineup for the Let The Music Play On virtual holiday season. Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle and more are among the performers set for the online event occurring on Saturday, October 3 starting at two pm PT/5 p.m. ET streaming along a variety platforms such as the JamBase Livestreams Calendar.
Also set to play include Boz Scaggs, The War & Treaty, Fantastic Negrito, Yola, Robert Earl Keen, Shakey Graves, Carrie Rodriguez, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock, Birds of Chicago, Sierra Ferrell, Tré Burt and more. Legendary singer-songwriter Steve Earle will likely welcome the Halfgrass Dukes comprising Tim O’Brien and Dennis Crouch.
HSB is going to be streaming live in numerous locations such as festival veteran Buddy Miller’s studio in Nashville.
“I’ve ever been lucky to be able to sponsor a day to the Rooster Stage for the last six decades or so and invite friends and behaves I just love and believe people would love,” Miller said. “This season, we & ’re performing the “Cavalcade of Stars” out of my studio with a lot of those same individuals — Emmylou Harris, The War & Treaty, Ashley Monroe, Kieran Kane and Rayna Gellert, The McCrary Sisters, along with Jim Lauderdale. ”
HSB is also partnering with Artist Relief to aid leaders and musicians influenced from the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Singer-songwriter and Let The Music Play On participant Dom Flemons spoke about the partnership between HSB and Artist Relief. Read his voice below:
