Steve Aoki‘s Neon Future LP installations have consistently felt like full blown events, and the chief event of the cake-tossing EDM celebrity ’s year has finally arrived: Neon Future III. 

Aoki’s ubiquitous productions are never off the airwaves . In between his well-endowed festival/touring program, the globetrotter found time to pepper 2018 using releases. Despite the consistent output, Neon Futures III readily stands out from the rest of Aoki’s output with an feature-stuffed track record which ’s poised to get some significant chart harm.

“Neon Future III (Intro)” begins off the LP with a no-vocals-necessary stadium electro scorcher–but the opening volley instantly gives way to a piled slate of feature-heavy pop-leaning phenomena. Former One Direction-er, Louis Tomlinson is on-board for radio-ready home on “Just Hold On,” and K-pop senses BTS are directly behind with “Waste It On Me. ” Aoki includes a possible crossover crush for each genre from the chamber, with everybody from blink-182 to societal network queen Bella Thorne in line to lend their talents. For lovers of the full-throttle high profile offeringsthe tone struck by the intro track resurfaces in the LP’so near, with no one other than Bill Nye lending heavyweight sample clout to record close: “Noble Gas. ”
