GRiZ returns with a three-piece Bangers[two ].Zip EP via Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats imprint, that is a sequel to his Bangers[1].Zip from earlier this season. While the first edition had more of this electro-sax guy ’s funk and reggae leanings, this one runs at a heavier, more contemporary direction. The very first track is a cooperation with up-and-coming bass standout Subtronics, smartly called “Griztronics,”– it’therefore trap brass construction with a drop which will move even the most tenacious of dance fans.

“Freak The Method” is the funkiest track on the undertaking, with a distinctive heavy bass swing on the hook which rides together tantalizing synths and groovy verses. “Push The Vibe” is conveys a intricate percussive attitude with crescendoing synths and also hyphy-inspired outspoken play.

GRiZ is set for the next season of his Ride Waves tour jog across 18 cities in the US this fall, slowing in DC, Nashville, LA, SF, Chicago, dual nights at Atlanta and much more. At the end of August he’ll be returning to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater due to his fifth largest sold-out double-header, performing fan favorites from his 2010-2017 catalog on August 30 plus a particular Ride Waves / brand new music exhibition on August 31.
